Pickens, SC - Rustic, Barn Engagement Session
What a fun time Mitchel and I had with Nikki and Sam for their engagement portrait session! Nikki decided to meet at Hagood Mill in Pickens, SC for their pictures. I am so glad she suggested Hagood Mill because it has so much character! Old, wooden log buildings, a super neat barn, and all of the trees and greenery you could ever want.
Nikki and Sam met at Grace Church - Powdersville, which is very near to our hearts! Three years ago, we began attending Grace Powdersville while we were engaged and both living just a few minutes down the road in Liberty, SC. We were placed in a fabulous community group, and Nikki was also a part of that group. I also served in the nursery with Nikki and got to know her better through that.
Mitchel and I really hit it off with Nikki and Sam, and even though we had never met Sam before the session, we felt like we had known him for years. The joy and laughter the two of them share is so sweet! We can't wait for their wedding in November at Occasions at Wedgefield in Central, SC.
Also, today is Nikki's birthday! So everyone wish her a happy day! :)
