Whew! It has been a busy few months for us! We just wanted to do a quick update on all that has been going on in our lives.
Our photographers, social media team, and web developers (all of those are Katie and me) have been working hard this year working to provide our awesome clients with beautiful images and a wonderful portrait experience. We have also focused on launching and updating our new website, and Katie has spent several hours listening to photography educators through webinars and online training! Aside from the business, we've also been busy in our personal lives as well. Needless to say, it's been a crazy year so far.
- We have become more involved with our church: Katie is now serving on the photography team – most Sunday’s you can find her running around taking photos of church services, special events, and general church related photos for promotional purposes. She is also serving on the worship team at church and we both just finished up our first year of serving with the high school youth group (they are so much fun and have so much energy, and make us feel so old!) Here is a blog post from a Prom photo session of some of our students!
- One of the most exciting events that have happened recently is that we celebrated two years of marriage! On May 16th, we officially survived two full years of happy matrimony.
- We are both working our full time jobs while loving every bit of our side-hustle.
- We are getting close to being ready to buy our first home!
Photographing Across South Carolina
Over the past couple of months, we've had the pleasure to shoot everything from family sessions, graduation portraits, and engagement sessions. We have booked some weddings that we are SO excited about and we've been blessed with some of the best clients that we could ever ask for. We've had to endure some rain, heat, and groups of prom goers taking over college campuses, but it has been such a rewarding experience for us both.
Katie has stayed up late dozens of nights (sometimes until midnight- which is surprising for a girl who loves sleep!) to edit, blog, and deliver pictures. It's one of her goals to deliver images to clients as quickly as possible, and she has gotten hours and hours of practice working in Lightroom the last several months.
We've barely had a weekend where we weren't running across the state, or popping around town for a quick photo session, but we wouldn't trade it for the world!
