Clemson SC Engagement Photos | Carrie & Jay

Engagement sessions taken on the Clemson University campus

Clemson University and Clemson Botanical Gardens Engagement Photos

I met Carrie and Jay on a gloomy, foggy, and sprinkly Sunday morning for their engagement photos. We met at Clemson’s campus, since Jay is a huge Clemson fan, and Carrie, is a great fiancé who wanted him to have photos in a place that was special to him. 😉

We worked our way around to a few spots on campus, starting at Tillman Hall, then to Little John Coliseum for a few shots, and finished up on campus at Death Valley, which always makes for great photos.

Then we went just down the road to the Clemson Botanical Gardens, which is one of my favorite spots in Clemson. Carrie was most excited about all of the greenery and Fall color here, with good reason. It was beautiful!

On my drive from Anderson to Clemson that morning, I was worried that we might have to reschedule because it started raining on my way there, but thankfully, the weather turned out perfectly for some  great, perfectly gloomy and also colorful shots. Carrie and Jay were troopers the entire time and didn’t seem to rain the rain and fog one bit.

I loved hearing more about Carrie and Jay’s relationship. They actually met at their job and have been together for 3 years. Jay proposed with a beautiful ring that is a family heirloom. I loved the 3 stones and intricate details on the band so much!

Carrie and Jay are having an intimate weekday wedding on a Wednesday, two days before Christmas! We just love weekday weddings that are a little smaller and intimate because it allows for a really sweet time with the couple’s closest family and friends. December 23rd is also super special because it’s Carrie’s parents anniversary and a few other family members have also been married on that same date. How neat that they will all share an anniversary!

Another fun fact is that Carrie has very close friends that we love and know very well, who are part of the reason she moved to SC from WV. I love that we have friends in common! 🙂

Carrie and Jay, we can’t wait for your wedding day and to celebrate all of the joy that comes with it!
