Katelyn and Lukas have known each other since high school. They hung around the same group of friends. They are both from the Hartwell, GA area. Katelyn moved away to go to college in Gainesville and Lukas stayed in their hometown. They officially started dating in November of 2018 after Katelyn had moved back home. I just love that they reconnected after being long-distance for so long.

It made me smile hearing about how the two of them are both huge family people and their families are so important to them! Katelyn’s family all still get together on Sunday’s after church each week for Sunday dinner. How precious!

The two of them are so busy and I can’t believe they are planning a wedding on top of everything they have going on! Katelyn is currently working on her masters of education and Lukas plays a huge role in his family’s automotive business. They love being outdoors and the mountains/hiking together. And are such a fun-loving and easy-going couple!

Mitchel and I enjoyed getting to know them better during their engagement session. We met at their wedding venue in the Anderson area, Evergreen Plantation, where they will be getting married in March! It was gorgeous, as usual!
