Welcome to the blog. Here you're going to find everything from heart-warming marriage stories, to beautiful images of our clients. We want to invite you into our lives.
Lindsey & Oscar were married at a friend’s home in Greer, SC overlooking a beautiful pond. They had a reception at the groom’s parents home in Greenville. They perfectly transformed their home into a lovely reception space and later a dance floor! We were so impressed.
Oscar proposed to Lindsey in Legacy Park in Greenville, where he also asked her to be his girlfriend, too. Naturally, we did their engagement photos there as well!
Oscar and Lindsey are adorable together. Their love for each other is so evident and it’s clear that they love to have fun together. The wedding day was no exception!
It was a perfectly sunny and cool, but not too cool, December day! Their friend’s backyard was the perfect intimate backdrop for their sweet celebration and sharing of marriage vows, which they wrote for each other.
Lindsey got ready with her bridesmaids and mom, and then had her dad come into the getting ready space once she was in her dress, for just a few moments of just the two of them and Lindsey’s mom. I’m glad they had a few moments together to just relax before the ceremony started.
The ceremony was sweet and it was just my favorite thing to see Lindsey read through her vows to Oscar while tearing up a few times. Adorable!
On their big day, Oscar and Lindsey both looked genuinely happy. Despite their wedding plans changing a few times due to the uncertainty of covid, they just took things as they came their way. I think they were just so ready to be married and both seemed to be glad it was finally happening!
As if their day wasn’t special enough, Lindsey’s sister had her baby girl the morning of the wedding! What a special day for their family! Now Lindsey and Oscar get to share their anniversary with their beautiful baby niece’s birthday! They even FaceTimed Lindsey’s sister while in the hospital so that she could be included in a few family photos, and later a photo with Lindsey & Oscar at the reception. I loved that they included her!
Lindsey pinned her grandmother’s bird-broach to her flowers as a way of honoring her memory. Lindsey also realized a while back after purchasing her wedding dress and getting it home, that some of the beading/lace work on her dress actually is shaped like a bird. How crazy, but also beautifully representative of her late-grandmother who Lindsey was super close with.
Coincidence? I think not. I think it was perfectly meant to be that Lindsey’s grandmother was represented on her wedding day in this way.
Lindsey and Oscar, we are so happy for you guys. We have loved being included in your season of engagement and your journey to your wedding day. From the night we first met you guys in coffee underground, we knew you were our kind of people: kind, funny, humble, and so much fun! We wish you all the best in the years to come.
