Welcome to the blog. Here you're going to find everything from heart-warming marriage stories, to beautiful images of our clients. We want to invite you into our lives.
Amanda Thomas and Allen Williams were married March 25 at Occasions at Wedgefield in Central, SC. Amanda and Allen first met online and have been together for 5 years. They moved to South Carolina after Amanda’s parents moved to the Clemson area on the lake.
After they had been talking for a few weeks they decided to meet in person. On their date they talked so long they hadn’t realized how much time had passed.
On a later date, Allen came to Amanda’s home and he thought she’d given him the wrong address because where she lived had previously been a business. We loved hearing these fun facts and stories from their friends speeches at their wedding reception.
I first got to meet them a few months ago for their engagement session where we walked all around Anderson University’s campus. I enjoyed getting to know them!
On the wedding day, the weather was just perfect. Leading up to the ceremony, there had been some worry that it might rain and be a pretty gross day. But thankfully, a few hours before the wedding it was beautiful and sunny and truly a perfect spring wedding day, with unseasonably warm temps.
Amanda and Allen were both very easy going and relaxed on the wedding day. Amanda got ready with her girls in the bridal suite and Allen and the groomsmen were just a few rooms over waiting for the ceremony to begin. We took individual photos with Amanda and her bridal party and Allen with his groomsmen. Then Amanda shared a first look with her dad and brother, which was a sweet moment.
After that, it was time for their outdoor ceremony at the venue. Their pastor performed the ceremony and had so many heartfelt words of encouragement to the couple about their marriage.
The reception was sweet and fun, with dj George Koury, catering from Boulevard Catering, cake and cupcakes from the bride’s friend Sweet Stuff by Allie. Kim Clark was their planner and we always love wedding days with her! Amanda and her girls had the most beautiful bouquets full of all the most beautiful pink flowers, by Honey Tree Weddings.
Allen and Amanda, we wish you all the best in your new journey of marriage! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day and we hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon in Savannah!!
