Greenville, SC is becoming the go-to spot to get married in South Carolina. Every year, there are MORE AND MORE venues popping up.
If you’re planning your wedding, one of the biggest decisions is WHERE to get married. Honestly, it can be difficult trying to decide. Do you want indoor or outdoor? Classic or rustic?
You want your day to be perfect, and so do we! That’s why we decided to pick some of our favorite venues in Greenville, SC. These aren’t all of the venue options or even a complete list of all of our FAVES, but we wanted to make a shortlist to keep brides from getting overwhelmed but still give them a place to start.
If you’re getting married in Greenville, SC, you should probably keep reading.
Gassaway Mansion is such a unique place to get married. I mean, look what they say on their website, “Filled with the exuberance and prosperity of the roaring 20’s.” – how many other venues can claim that?
First of all, you have the chance to get married on the porch of a classic southern style mansion, it’s a dream!
Secondly, they have the perfect space at the back/side of the home for the reception. It offers tons of space for food and dancing, without crowding any of your guests.
The Gassaway has exclusive vendors for catering, florists, and directing – which means you won’t have to worry about picking those vendors yourself! Think about how much time and trouble it will save you.
There are a lot of interesting things about The Gassaway Mansion, but one of the coolest is the art. The mansion is owned by a Christian non-profit and they have over 1,000 pieces of religious art! How cool is that!?
One mile from Main Street Greenville, The Gassaway Mansion is the largest house in the Upstate and is listed on The National Register of Historic Places.
All of their pricing packages are based off 100 people, but they can fit 250 – 300.
“Where southern charm meets rustic elegance”
Okay, Sitton Hill isn’t QUITE in Greenville, SC, it’s in Powdersville – but once you see the pictures, you’ll understand why we just HAD to include it.
With this list, we wanted to have a variety of venues. If you want an outdoor barn wedding, you’ll have plenty of options, but we wanted to show you one of our favorites in the Greenville area.
If you decide to have your wedding at The Barn at Sitton Hill Farm (and you REALLY should consider it), you aren’t far from Downtown Greenville – which means all of your guests will have places to stay and plenty to do for fun.
The owner, Sitton, had a dream to share the majestic beauty of this century old farmland. It came to life in 2017 as she and her husband, Heath, built a barn venue on the property to host weddings and special events.
There are A LOT of venues out there with “farms” in their name, but Aurora Farms is different than most other “Farm” venues out there.
We had the chance to go to a wedding for our friends, and we fell in love with the look and feel of the place.
Aurora Farms has a family of wonderful people operating the venue and has excellent reviews about the service and the attention to detail.
What we like about it is the color scheme. We LOVE the all-white. When you add flowers and bridesmaids dresses, they POP – which means AMAZING photos.
They also provide linens and chairs, which is one less hassle!
Aurora Farms is one of Greenville’s newest and most trendy wedding and event venues. It offers beautiful indoor and outdoor options, from stunning chandeliers in a white post-and-beam setting to a gorgeous lighted weeping willow off a huge backyard patio. Check out photos, pricing, and availability at www.AuroraFarmsEventVenue.com. Call today to schedule your tour: 864.663.4182.
They can fit up to 250 seated guests.
Aurora Farms is excellent at setting up the tables and chairs to ensure your guests have plenty of space to move around.
Falls Park is one of the most iconic spaces in Greenville. If you’ve ever been to Greenville, you’ve been to Falls Park.
People are constantly going on dates to Falls Park, getting engaged there, and even getting married.
If you are wanting to get married in Downtown Greenville (and why wouldn’t you?) then you need to check out The Venue at Falls Park.
Here are some of the details about the space:
They have an indoor and outdoor space for you and your guests to enjoy. It’s always beautifully decorated and offers a stunning space for your ceremony and reception.
The venue spots can fit up to 149 guests (a very specific number). The Venue at Falls Park is one of the smaller venues on our list. More of an intimate wedding location.
If a venue has kept their doors open for more than 20 years, you know they must be doing something right. There is a reason Twigs Tempietto (usually just called Twigs) is one of the go-to spots for wedding ceremonies.
One of the best things about Twigs (aside from the space and flowers being BREATHTAKING) is the services they offer.
Twigs has catering, with menu options, decor options, and flowers, of course. You can tell they decorate the venue with the utmost care and thought.
You can tell by their decorations, they care about providing the best day possible to EVERY SINGLE bride.
Those are only a handful of your options!
Your guests will have plenty to do, places to stay, and lots of great food to eat. There is a reason Greenville is the hottest place to get married in South Carolina.
We hope this little guide has given you some ideas about picking your ideal wedding location. Your wedding venue should be everything you want and reflect your personality.
