Things I’m loving in October

October has been a month of new things for me! My first day of going full time with my photography business was October 1! (Well really September 29, but it was the weekend, so the first Monday in the office was October 1). Here are some of the things I’ve enjoyed this month!

  1. Coffee with cinnamon in the grounds

    Life changing. I knew that I liked this before but with the cooler temperatures, this hits the spot in the mornings and actually makes me want to drink coffee WITHOUT my usual creamer!

  2. My diffuser with Fall blends

    I recently joined Young Living just to reap the benefits of being a member and receiving 24% off my own orders. We had been using oils for about a year, but hadn’t ever really thought about the quality of them. Young Living oils are pure and natural. Right now I have been loving thieves, lavender, citrus fresh, and stress away and am learning how to blend them for fun, Fall scents that aren’t toxic or bad for us!

  3. Podcasts!

    Specifically Annie F. Downs “That Sounds Fun” podcast, Christy Wright’s Business Boutique, and sermons from Grace Church SC.

    Annie F Downs is an author and speaker, based in Nashville, TN. Her Christian centered writing, “highlights the everyday goodness of a real and present God.” And y’all, she is so fun and vibrant! I also love her devotional “100 Days to Brave”

    Christy Wright is one of Dave Ramsey’s personalities and she guides women who own their own businesses.

  4. Morning yoga at least twice a week

    A friend of mine, (Hey Whitney!), who is also the friend who introduced me to Young Living, has been doing a 30 day yoga challenge each morning during October. While I haven’t done the video every day, I have done it once or twice a week, especially before long days in my office to help wake me up and get me focused. I have enjoyed getting up, reading my Bible while drinking my coffee, and then doing 20-30 minutes of yoga.

  5. Most importantly, our new NIECE!

    The best part of October, by FAR! Our sweet sister brought Charlotte Ruth into the world on October 13, a week before her due date! Charlotte was ready to make her debut and we are so in love with her! Click here to see her birth story through photos!
