Senior pictures are always so much fun for me! I still remember taking my own senior portraits at the State House in Columbia almost 10 years ago! A family friend of mine took my senior pictures and we had the best time wandering all around Columbia. I loved getting to choose different outfits and really enjoyed the ways she posed me. I also enjoyed picking specific spots that were so intentional to represent who I was at the time.
Because of my own senior picture experience, I try to create a great experience when photographing seniors and soon-to-be graduates. It’s such a special time for them and I enjoy getting celebrate with them!
Jarod is in Mitchel’s small group that he leads in Forge, our church’s high school student ministry group. He and Jarod have spent a lot of time with each other and gotten to know each other well over the past year or so. Because of that, I am always honored and so excited when students that we have come to know and love ask me to photograph them!
Jarod and I decided to meet for a sunrise session in downtown Anderson for his graduation pictures! He brought his really cool Keith Urban original guitar and had an awesome seersucker blazer! We ventured around downtown and found some perfect, rustic spots for his pictures. I think they really fit his personality and portrayed a cool vibe! 🙂
Jarod graduates in a month, so join me in congratulating him on this big milestone!!
