Best of Engagements 2020

We love engagement photo sessions with our couples for so many reasons!

One, who doesn’t love an excuse for more pictures of you and your love?! If you have never had professional photos done of you and your fiance, you’ll now have photos, other than wedding day photos, to display in your home together. They can also be used for save the dates or to display at your wedding reception. Some people even do a guest book with their engagement photos, which we offer for our couples to purchase! It’s the best keepsake.

Two, it’s the perfect time to get used to taking photos so your wedding day is even more seamless when it comes to photo-time. We promise, you will absolutely be more comfortable during bride & groom portrait time on your wedding day, so we aren’t taking even longer to teach you poses or figure out what looks great, because we have already had a trial run!

Three, it is our favorite time as photographers to get to know our couples in a fun environment. We basically feel like it’s a double date. 😉 It’s a great time for you to begin to feel comfortable with us, see how we work as a team, and we also get to know you.

Engagement sessions are really our first extended time to get to know you. We can figure out what poses flatter you most, how you interact with your fiancé, your unique personalities, and anything else you want us to know about you!

This year, we had lots of engagement sessions all around the State, and even a few outside of South Carolina, too! Some of the places we visited for engagement sessions included: Anderson, of course; Greenville, Iva, the Upstate SC Mountains including Sassafras and Paris Mountain, Columbia, Elgin, Clemson, and the furthest, Kentucky! We also photographed two surprise proposals as well.

Some of these couples will get married in 2021, and quite a few were already married in 2020. We have loved spending time with each and every one of these amazing couples in places that they love.

Enjoy some of our very favorite engagement shots from all of 2020!
