Hello bride-to-be and welcome! We’re Katie and Mitchel and we’re a husband and wife team that make up Katie Jaynes Photography! We’re so excited that you found us and because we believe that getting to know our clients is the #1 way to ensure an awesome experience, we’d love to tell you a little about us. Here are a few things you should know!
One of the coolest things about being wedding photographers is that we get to travel and see so many awesome places. Many times, places that are really special to our couples. We love seeing and being a part of places that have shaped who our clients have become!
We are based in Anderson, South Carolina, but we've shot weddings all over the South East and beyond. Everywhere from Georgia, to Kentucky, to Charleston, SC, in the mountains of North Carolina, and some of the cutest places in between.
Our couples are #1 priority, and we will travel anywhere they want to go to capture those magical moments on the wedding day. We get a lot of questions from couples asking how far we travel. The answer is ANYWHERE. You pick the spot and we will be there! We have no limits!

We had to put Anderson first on our list of locations, because it's our hometown. We love everything about our little town.
If you're in the Upstate, Anderson is an excellent place for your wedding day. There are dozens of great venues (we would love to tell you some of our favorites), plus some other really incredible vendors. Anderson has a mixture of barn venues, elegant spaces, and newer modern locations.

Out of all of our vendors Katie was by far the most organized, personable and delivered above and beyond. We had over 1,000 images and have beautiful photos of every detail. Plot twist..they even had photos edited and complete during our reception...50 images while we were on our honeymoon and all images less than a month later! They even sent us a goody basket a month before our wedding (which was perfect timing)!

COLUMBIA, SC
There is something so special to me about photographing a wedding in Columbia, SC. I grew up right outside of Columbia and it's the heart of South Carolina.
It's so different than our hometown in the Upstate, and that makes it so fun to us. Tall buildings, ornate architecture, lots of history, and the modern touches make Columbia, SC an excellent choice for a city wedding.

Being so close to Clemson, we know a lot of Clemson students and Tiger brides. Mitchel is a Tiger through and through, and even though I'm not a Clemson fan, it's hard to deny how pretty the Clemson area is. There are dozens of great wedding spots in this college town.
A couple things we love about Clemson is the homey feel, the college atmosphere, as well as the beautiful locations. Clemson, SC is an excellent place for any Clemson fan!

Greenville, SC is located very close to several major cities. Located close enough to Atlanta, Charolette, Asheville, and Columbia that it can be a destination wedding location! Regardless of what you're looking for, Greenville surely has it!

What isn't to love about NC? From the beautiful mountain views to the Biltmore, vineyards, cities, and so much more. Not only do we love visiting North Carolina, but we've also had the privilege of capturing some spectacular weddings.
Although we live in the Upstate of South Carolina, we are more than happy to travel up north to visit friends in North Carolina. Be sure to see some of the unforgettable moments we've captured in NC.

GEORGIA
One of the nice things about Anderson is how close it is to the Georgia state line. Now, not only is that perfect for a day trip to Atlanta to the Aquarium or to see the Braves play, but it's also perfect for a perfect, southern wedding!
Through the years, we've been fortunate enough to cross the state line's over to Georgia for some amazing weddings. We've been everywhere from Augusta, to Atlanta, and some little cities in between just down the road from us, like Hartwell.
