Fall Spartanburg Engagement Session

I got to meet Madeline and Reed and their sweet 1 year old son Krew in Spartanburg at Glendale Shoals Park a few weeks ago.

Madeline and Reed first met when they were in college at USC Upstate several years ago. He proposed to Madeline during a family photoshoot on his 25th birthday. He had lined up to have a photographer, Madeline’s friend, ask Madeline if she wanted a free photo session, of course she said yes. When he proposed during the session, she said she was totally caught off guard by it all!

For their engagement photos, it was the most beautiful Fall day, not too cold and not too hot. The park was just beautiful and had some lovely colored Fall leaves. The area is so beautiful, with cute gardens at the back of the park, a waterfall with a walkable stoned area, and the prettiest red bridge. This was my first time at Glendale Shoals, but I loved it! Madeline said she first learned about the park back in college when she and her sorority sisters would come and take photos there.

This sweet fam first had photos done here by Madeline’s friend when Krew was just 3 months old. I thought it was special for them to come back a year later for their engagement photos here, too.
