Sleepy Hollow Barn | Clemson SC Wedding

Nick and Bri were married at Sleepy Hollow Barn on October 23 on a warm, but beautiful Fall day. I felt like we had been waiting for their big day for forever, so I know they definitely felt that way, too.

Bri and Nick first met in college when they were students at Winthrop University. They have a really fun story of how they met at a campus event where there was a hypnotist. Hearing them tell their story of meeting, along with seeing photos of that day is the best and I know I wouldn’t do it justice. So you’ll just have to ask them. 😉

After dating for a few years, Nick proposed to Bri in Carolina Wren Park in Anderson. We stopped toward the end of their engagement session there to take some of their engagement photos last Spring in Wren Park since it’s a place that is special to them.

Bri and Nick are super fun-loving. They are both so dedicated to their careers and are hard-workers. Everyone who knows them knows that. They are special, for sure!

The Wedding Day at Sleepy Hollow

On the wedding day, Bri was so happy. I’m pretty sure she smiled from ear to ear the entire day. I was so happy to see her joy! Bri is such a planner. She is organized and so on top of things, so I actually prayed before we arrived that she wouldn’t be nervous or anxious because of being a planner at heart.

Nick was calm, but definitely a teeny bit nervous. He was excited for their first look and that he got to have time with Bri before the ceremony. It was a sweet time for their first look. Bri began to cry before Nick even turned around, and Nick had the sweetest reaction to seeing Bri for the first time.

Before their first look, Bri had a first look with her dad. It was absolutely adorable and quite possibly the sweetest Daddy-daughter first look we have seen. It’s so clear that Bri’s sweet dad loves her so much, they have the sweetest relationship.

After their first looks, they got to spend time with their bridal party, taking photos and just hanging out together. Their ceremony was sweet and was officiated by their good friend and Bri’s physical therapist. The weather was perfect for their outdoor ceremony under the beautiful trees on the lawn at Sleepy Hollow. 

They had the most fun reception, where their friends stayed on the dance floor the whole night. Bri was so proud of their adorable dessert bar, with good reason! She poured so much work into all of the decorations at their reception. She had her hand in it all and she did it all so well executing her vision and bringing it all to life.

Bri’s dad surprised her with their daddy-daughter dance. He wrote a song for her, had it recorded and played bass guitar for the song. She sobbed and it was truly the sweetest gesture!

Bri and Nick, we are so happy for you and were so honored to be your photographers! It was the best day meeting your family and friends, and celebrating you two and your love story.
