Downtown Greenville Summer Engagement Session

Liz and Mike are completely adorable! I loved getting to meet them for their engagement photos in Downtown Greenville.

They met back in November and began dating. He proposed in Falls Park, where they also had their very first date, so it just made sense to have their engagement portraits in and around the park.

They seem to have mastered a long distance relationship with Liz living in the Greenville area and Mike living in the Columbia area. Their long distance is about to get a bit longer for a few months while Liz moves to Atlanta and Mike moves to Arizona, both for work. Moving seems like it doesn’t phase these two, since Liz is from Minnesota and Mike is from Pennsylvania.

I know they will be so happy when they’re both back together in SC for their February wedding. Then they’ll be moving to Texas, which is a new place for them both. It will be nice to be able to start their lives together while making their new place their own.

We truly can’t wait for their wedding day! I know it will be such a special celebration of two becoming one at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. The church is so beautiful and has the most magnificent windows that let in beautiful light during the Mass, so we are excited to be the ones photographing their day.

We walked all around downtown, starting at Spill the Beans and into Falls Park. We walked around to some pretty spots along the Reedy River and around to Larkins and Wyche Pavilion. I enjoyed getting to know these two so much and can’t wait to photograph their wedding day!
