Welcome to the blog. Here you're going to find everything from heart-warming marriage stories, to beautiful images of our clients. We want to invite you into our lives.
Katrina and Matt and their sweet pups (and their awesome friend who helped with their dogs) met me out in Mauldin at Lake Conestee Park for their engagement photos a few weeks ago. I was so excited to finally get to meet them. A mutual friend of ours referred them to me a few months ago, which always means the world to me.
The weather was a littler cooler than the average beginning of August heat normally is, and we were so glad about that! It was definitely a little steamy, but much more bearable than typically at that time of year. Katrina and Matt were troopers and did not complain one bit.
Matt proposed to Katrina back in April of this year out at Conestee Park. She said they walked all over the park that day and she originally thought that he may propose. But after walking all around the place and getting tired and sweaty, she thought, surely he isn’t going to propose today. But she was wrong! At the end of their time exploring the park that day in April, Matt took her to the most picturesque spot overlooking the water. She said he was so casual and said “Do you want to marry me?”. 🙂
We walked to that spot during their engagement session after Matt looked up a map on my phone to get us there. I’m so glad that he was able to find the exact trail because it was so beautiful, warm, and full of glowyness! We ended our time together in that area and I think those ended up being my most favorite photos of all, not only because the location was beautiful but because it’s a sentimental spot for them.
I am so excited for their wedding day in December at Greenbrier Farms in Easley. Their plans for their ceremony is to get married under the big and beautiful oak tree out in the most perfect field. We are all hoping the weather will cooperate and allow that to happen, because it will be so lovely!! Some of our best friends were married there a few years ago, and I’ve always thought that it was such a dreamy ceremony spot.
