Engagement photos in a dreamy field on family land

Their Engagement Session

I got to hang out with Will and Krista and their dog Copper a few weeks back. We took their engagement photos on Will’s parents land out in Piedmont. They have lots of land and a beautiful open field that is any photographers dream! 

It was a perfect day and the weather turned out to be amazing for their session. This was our second date that we planned for their photos because the first date about two weeks before ended up being so stormy and gross outside.

Will’s dad has a red, 1965 Chevy truck that was Will’s grandfather’s truck. It looks pristine and brand new! He allowed us to use it for a few photos, and those are some of my favorite shots from their session!  

More About The Couple

I loved learning more about Krista and Will and their relationship, as well as their careers. 

Krista is a mental health therapist at Greenville Middle. Will is going to be graduating from USC law school in just a few weeks in May. He just got a job with a judge that he will be starting soon after graduation from Law School. This is such an exciting season for them filled with many, big life changes. I’m so excited for them and the next several months as they get closer to their wedding day.

They will likely be moving somewhere into the Anderson County area which is near where each of them grew up and close to their families. They first met as camp counselors at the Powdersville YMCA back in 2016.

The Wedding Day

Will and Krista are getting married at The L in Greenville, which is owned by Larkins Restaurant. It’s in the heart of Downtown Greenville and is so beautiful! I love the exposed brick look, complete with vaulted ceilings and wood floors! It’s going to be the perfect place for their Winter Wedding in January next year.
