Last Minute Christmas Gifts for Newlyweds

Christmas Gift Ideas

Christmas is almost here! How crazy is that? We are just nine days away! COVID has made the whole year slow down and speed up all at once. For some reason, Christmas still snuck up on me.

If you’re anything like me, your Christmas gift shopping might not be 100% done yet. If fact, you might be going crazy trying to pick out a gift for your sweetheart or someone close to you.

Don’t worry, we have a list of thoughtful and personal gifts you can buy for your newlywed spouse, your friends who are engaged, or just someone you love.

Rothy’s

Okay, well this can’t be a super last minute gift, and well, it’s definitely more for her, but guys, you will score MAJOR points with this one! Rothy’s are really cute and durable shoes made of recycled plastic! They’re amazing and have so many styles for any girl. I wear them at most every wedding we shoot because I love them so much!

To help you out, here’s a $20 off code for you!

Ring Dish

This is more for the bride than the groom, but there are so many cute ring dishes out there! You can buy a hand painted ring dish for the bathroom or bedside table.

If you want to make it special, you can get the bride’s new initials on the ring dish! It’s a simple and thoughtful gift for any newly wedded bride who is looking for a place to keep those rings safe.

Mini Photo Album

We couldn’t have a Christmas gift list without including some kind of photo album. We are ALWAYS encouraging people to buy wedding photo albums, but any time is perfect to showcase your favorite photos.

Here’s why we love albums. Most of the time, you have pictures take (or you take them yourselves), and then you or your family never get to look at them again. They might stay on your phone or in a folder on your computer and will never see the light of day.

Instead of those pictures never gracing the rest of the world, why not get a mini photo album? Or even a full size album.

If you’re recently engaged or married, why not craft a whole photo album of just you and your sweetie? It’s a sweet and personal gift that you’ll always cherish.

Custom Christmas Ornament

We LOVE when people buy us Christmas ornaments. It’s always such a special time for us during Christmas when we are decorating our tree to look back on the ornaments people have given us. When we get one, we always write on it who it’s from and the year they gave it to us.

We can’t be the only ones. What’s great about buying a custom ornament is you can make it EXACTLY how you want.

Maybe you can use a wedding photo or even a picture from an engagement session. Maybe you don’t want a picture at all and you’d rather have a handcrafted one. Maybe you want an ornament that’s shaped like a motorcycle.

Whatever you want, you can find one. It’s a simple and thoughtful gift for anyone in your life.

Couple Coffee Mugs

Coffee cups are Mitchel’s love language. In fact, we have way too many in our cabinets.

But regardless of how many we have, coffee cups are a cute and personal gift you can get a newly engaged couple, newly weds, or even couples who have been married for a long time.

With people spending more time at home, what’s better than giving them a set of cute couple mugs they can cozy up with on a Saturday morning and enjoy.

Framed Wedding Stationary

There are so many ways to memorialize your wedding day, with video, pictures, guest books, and much more. But we’ve been loving custom framing recently.

We’ve had several small pieces, paintings, postcards and even Clemson magazine covers framed recently.

Board Games

This is something Mitchel and I love to do (especially during quarantine). We’ve gotten into a lot of fun board games. It’s nice to unplug from electronics, get away from the TV, and just have some fun together.

Now, you don’t have to break out the old monopoly set (unless you enjoy sitting there for hours). There are so many fun and shorter games you can play.

We have really enjoyed playing Phase 10, 5 Minute Dungeon, and Code Name. All of these games are really simple to learn and don’t take forever to play.

Christmas Gifts for Newlyweds

If you’re just married or you’re shopping for an engaged couple, there are SO many options. But we always suggest buying something that will remind you of this phase of life. It flies by, but you never want to forget all the fun parts of being engaged or the first couple months of marriage.
