A Summer Hydrangea Filled Wedding

Alivia Grace Talley and Bennett Connelly were married at Tin Roof Farms in Saluda, SC. They had a lovely Summer wedding day and the venue was just the perfect backdrop for their day.

Alivia Grace and Bennett first met at Clemson where they were both students. Bennett recently graduated and Alivia Grace will graduate soon as well. They had many friends from Clemson attend their wedding and lots of family and friends from all over.

Their marriage proposal was just as sweet as the two of them. Alivia Grace said yes to Bennett on Lovers Lane in Presidents Park, under the gazebo. In their photos from that day, they both looked so happy and Alivia Grace looked so surprised!

I got to meet up with them back in February of this year for their engagement session in stunning Downtown Greenville. We walked all around the Falls Park area and even found some blooming florals in the middle of Winter! It was a dream!

The Wedding Day

It was a hot, but thankfully sunny(!!!), Friday August wedding day! There was rain in the forecast all week, and Alivia Grace texted me 2 days before the wedding a little panicked about the rain and storms that were supposed to come on Friday. The Lord truly answered their prayers for a beautiful day, and they felt like that was such a sweet gift from Him as He smiled down on them for their wedding day.

Bennett and Alivia Grace have so much love to share. They were both giddy with excitement and smiles on the day of their wedding. 

AG got ready with her girls in Tin Roof Farms beautiful and spacious bridal suite! The guys got ready across the venue in the groom’s cottage. We love Tin Roof Farms because of their beautiful property and spacious areas for the bride and groom and their wedding parties. We also really love their chapel/ceremony area so much.

Once they finally saw each other, when Alivia Grace came down the aisle, it was as if they were the only people in the chapel. Their eyes were locked on each other while she came down that long chapel aisle. AG’s father officiated the ceremony which was so heartfelt, filled with Jesus, and so sweet. Their friend, and wonderful musician, Phillip Vo, played and sang during their ceremony which was a lovely touch.

As they recessed out of the ceremony, all of their wedding party screamed, shouted, and shared so many smiles and hugs for the new Mr. & Mrs. Connelly! 

We took lots of sweet photos after their ceremony and then it was time for their big party! So many of their family and friends came from all over to celebrate their love. 

Their reception was a sweet and fun time with catering from Shealy’s BBQ and some of the best cupcakes! Their friend, the talented Phillip Vo, was also DJ and provided some live music as well! Such a treat for the guests and couple!
