Mr. & Mrs. Oliver | A Gassaway Mansion Wedding

A Downtown Greenville Spring Wedding filled with a Soft Pastel Color Palette

Tori Sizemore and Taylor Oliver were married March 31 at the lovely Gassaway Mansion just outside of Downtown Greenville, SC.

Taylor proposed last year in June on a rooftop in Greenville overlooking the reedy river. So dreamy! Less than a year later, they were married not far from where Taylor proposed, Gassaway Mansion.

The Wedding Day

It was the most beautiful Spring day, but just days before the wedding festivities began, we weren’t sure if it would be so beautiful! It was rainy and a little chilly the week leading up to the wedding. Tori and Taylor were blessed with the most beautiful weather and only a few tiny drops of rain came down just as their ceremony began.

Tori and Taylor just exude joy. They are such a precious couple and we loved getting to watch them interact with each other and their family and friends on their special day. Tori has the most beautiful smile and the way Taylor looks at her is just adorable.

Tori and her girls spent the morning getting ready at her friends beautiful home about 10 minutes from the venue. When we arrived they were adding final touches on Tori’s makeup and she looked so stunning! I loved the girls matching pjs!

They arrived at Gassaway and headed to their bridal suite where Tori’s mom helped her into her lovely wedding gown. Taylor and his groomsmen arrived a bit after the ladies and hung out in the billiard room playing pool. Tori shared a sweet and fun first look with her bridesmaids downstairs in the entryway of the mansion. Tori and her dad also shared a first look, which was so special.

Then, it was time for Taylor to see his bride and share a first look with her with the venue as a perfect backdrop. They shared vows with each other and had a few moments of just the two of them before their wedding ceremony and festivities began.

Tori gifted her mom and dad sweet gifts, handstitched handkerchiefs with a note to each of them. She also gifted Taylor a set of monogrammed cuff links with “TO” on them, his initials, and now hers as well. We took a few bride & groom portraits and then their wedding party met them outside.

We took portraits with their wedding party after their first look, which was a fun time for Tori and Taylor to spend with them before their ceremony began. Their ceremony was sweet and so beautiful. They looked so incredibly happy!

After their ceremony, we took portraits with their family and then had time for a few more of just Tori and Taylor. These are some of my favorites from the whole day!

Their reception was SO much fun! Wonderful food, so much dancing, and all the smiles and laughter.

Note to the couple:

Taylor and Tori, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day! You two are such a lovely couple and we loved getting getting to know you and photograph your day. It was evident on your day that you are both loved by many! We wish you all the best in your new life together!
