Welcome to the blog. Here you're going to find everything from heart-warming marriage stories, to beautiful images of our clients. We want to invite you into our lives.
Brianna and David Salter were married at Avenue in Downtown Greenville. Avenue is an amazing venue in the heart of downtown that features a space downstairs that can be used for the ceremony and also a beautiful, large rooftop space with both indoor and outdoor options. Brianna and David love the Greenville area and were so stoked to have their wedding day here, as any Greenville-loving couple would!
I loved meeting this fun pair last Summer when we took their engagement photos in Falls Park, just a few steps away from their wedding venue! I loved hearing all about their relationship and some of their favorite hobbies, including trying out breweries, beers, and of course all about David’s love of Lacrosse. He’s currently a lacrosse coach at Lander, not too far away from us in Anderson!
Their wedding day was lovely and sunny, really the perfect August day with warm temps and beautiful skies! Brianna and her bridesmaids and moms got ready in the bridal suite and the guys arrived at the venue a bit later. Brianna was calm and just ready to see David. She didn’t look even the tiniest bit nervous! David was nervous, but excited!
They shared a first look together outside of the venue and it seemed like they both were so glad to have taken this time together before the day began and things got into full swing. It seemed like David’s nerves melted away when he saw his bride for the first time.
After their first look, David and Brianna decided to walk up the street for a few portraits of the two of them at Yeehaw Brewing, which was perfect because of their love of beer and breweries! Then we took some photos of them with their fun wedding party in front of the venue. After that, they had a few minutes to rest and freshen up, and then the ceremony began!
They had their ceremony in the first floor area of Avenue, with beautiful big windows and a rich brown backdrop filled with the most beautiful pink florals you ever did see, from the most wonderful floral team, Renee Burroughs Designs. I was just IN LOVE with their ceremony florals so we took a few photos of the wedding party in front of those, too.
David’s brother, Paul, was their ceremony officiant and made the ceremony so personal and hilarious! He also had a super thoughtful touch of a Latvian flag that he gave to David to wear during the ceremony to represent their late grandmother, who David was very close with.
Their reception was a blast, with Shawn of Jumping Jukebox bringing the party and catering by Table 301. All of their vendors made the day just amazing, and we loved finally getting to work with Michelle of Ever Weddings as their planner! It’s always so fun meeting vendors outside of a wedding day and then getting to work alongside them to pull off a successful wedding day.
David and Brianna, you two were a blast and we are cheering your marriage on! Thank you for having us as your photographers!
