A Joyful Spring Wedding at South Wind Ranch | Sean & Megan Sorbin

Sean and Megan’s wedding day at South Wind Ranch in Travelers Rest was the perfect celebration of their love story. Surrounded by family, friends, and the beautiful scenery of the Upstate, they spent the day creating memories they will cherish for a lifetime. Even through the rain, their joy was evident!

The afternoon began with excitement filling every corner of the venue as everyone prepared for the festivities ahead. Megan spent the early part of the day with her bridesmaids and family, enjoying the final moments before becoming a wife. The bridal cottage was full of anticipation as details were carefully arranged, dresses were steamed, and laughter echoed through the room.

One of the sweetest moments of the day came when Megan shared a first look with her father. Seeing his daughter fully dressed and ready to walk down the aisle was an emotional moment neither of them will soon forget. There were plenty of tears, hugs, and proud smiles as they took in the significance of the day together. Megan gifted him a custom tie with a photo of the two of them on the back.

Shortly afterward, Sean and Megan shared a private first touch before the ceremony. Without seeing one another, they stood together and exchanged a few quiet words, calming any nerves and building anticipation for the moment they would finally meet at the altar. It was a beautiful reminder that their relationship has always been rooted in connection, trust, and friendship.

Before the ceremony, Megan spent time with her bridesmaids, while Sean and his groomsmen gathered for portraits. With the rain, we were grateful to have the covered ceremony site for photos while still being able to see picturesque landscape all around South Wind Ranch.

As guests arrived and found their seats, excitement continued to build. The ceremony was moved indoors due to the continuous rain, with family and friends gathered to witness Sean and Megan exchange vows. Surrounded by the people who love them most, they promised forever to one another and officially became husband and wife.

Following the ceremony, family portraits and wedding party photos captured the joy everyone was feeling. Then came one of my favorite parts of the day—Sean and Megan’s first portraits together as newlyweds. With the celebration still ahead of them, they were able to soak in a few quiet moments together and enjoy the reality that they were finally married.

The reception kicked off with an energetic introduction of the wedding party and newlyweds, setting the tone for an evening full of surprises and celebration. Throughout the night, guests enjoyed heartfelt moments including a surprise bouquet dedication and special parent dances that featured the same songs used during Sean and Megan’s first dance. These unexpected touches made the evening even more meaningful for everyone in attendance.

Of course, there were plenty of fun moments as well. One of the highlights of the reception was a spirited performance of YMCA featuring Megan and her four roommates, bringing laughter and cheers from guests packed onto the dance floor. The energy remained high all evening as friends and family celebrated the newlyweds.

As the evening drew to a close, guests gathered outside to prepare for the couple’s grand exit. Before joining their family and friends, Sean and Megan shared a private last dance together—a beautiful and intimate ending to an incredible day. With the dance floor all to themselves, they were able to soak in the final moments of their wedding celebration before stepping out to cheers from their loved ones.
