Last week we had the the best week (well, 4 days) overlooking the marsh of Hilton Head, thanks to Mitchel’s Aunt Sarah letting us borrow their condo! We really needed a few days of resting, laying on the beach, and having one-on-one time with no real agenda and Hilton Head is the perfect place for that.
We got a little burnt – this has been the first time my pale winter skin has seen the light of day – but really enjoyed our time together.
Besides our honeymoon over 2 years ago, this was our first vacation just the two of us! We decided that we love vacationing by ourselves, because we can be as lazy and useless as we want with no judgement. 🙂
We took some photos with a tripod (and some updated headshots for me) after dinner on our last night there right by the marsh. And shortly after, from our balcony, we saw 2 raccoons chasing a cat up a tree in the exact same spot. It was entertaining and also a little terrifying.
