The Treash family is F-U-N! And they are also so incredibly loving toward one another, and it it very evident to anyone who encounters their family! I knew their family photo session would show just how fun and lively they are! You can tell that they love to have a good time and just enjoy […]
I have had the privilege to walk through several seasons with Jamie and her family! Truly, that is one of my most favorite parts of being a photographer, seeing a family grow. But most importantly, continuing to get to walk alongside them through different seasons! A few years ago, the photos started with Christmas pictures […]
Anna contacted me back in December asking about family portraits as a gift to her mother for Christmas. The family decided they wanted to wait to take the photos in the Spring, and I’m so glad they did! Downtown Anderson was showing out! We actually took these on a pretty warm Spring day and I […]
Senior pictures are always so much fun for me! I still remember taking my own senior portraits at the State House in Columbia almost 10 years ago! A family friend of mine took my senior pictures and we had the best time wandering all around Columbia. I loved getting to choose different outfits and really […]
Haley and Bryce were so much fun for their engagement photos and are such a cute couple! They both had a grin on their faces the entire session! I kept telling Bryce throughout the whole session that I wanted to call him Bryan. And by the end of the session, I knew why. He actually […]
You know those first few mornings when it’s still just a tad chilly out and it’s just barely Spring, but you know it’s coming? This was how it was leading up to Amanda and Andrew’s engagement session. They were my first session of the season that truly felt and looked like spring! Amanda and Andrew […]
Mitchel is a words guy (I am NOT a words girl). I shut down in a disagreement/argument, he just wants to talk it over. He is a great listener, while I am not so much. You see, we couldn’t possibly be more different with our communication styles. (He is and always will be a comm […]
Now that Alyssa is a married lady, I can finally share her bridal portraits! Her wedding day was just gorgeous and it was evident that her and Mikas are so loved by many! You can see their Charleston engagement photos from last April here. I have been sitting on these photos and haven’t been able […]
Alyssa and Mikas were married Saturday at the beautiful First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, with a fabulous reception at The Big Chill. Alyssa and Mikas are quite the couple. Everyone who knows Alyssa knows her for her genuine kindness, incredible work ethic, and passion for her career in medicine. Mikas even told one of the pastors that he has heard everyone say it, but he had a front row seat to seeing that Alyssa truly is the hardest working person he knows. Those who know Mikas know him for his love of his two cats, his wit, and his smarts!
What have been some struggles in your marriage? How did you overcome them?
Learning how to communicate. Learning that my way isn’t the only way to do things. Learning the importance of putting God first individually and in our marriage. We’ve overcome all of them through just doing life together, support of church community, and a Bible – teaching church.
