We are all about finding ways to spend quality time together in ways that don’t always cost tons of money. For example, we love to try new things and exploring our town. The problem is, we don’t want to spend half our paycheck going out on a date.Read More

Luke and Laurel met at Anderson University and began dating when they were students there. Mitchel and I knew Luke during our time at AU and were able to get to know him well during our time there. He actually sang and played guitar at our wedding, which was super special for us!Read More
Jamie and Ryan were married with their closest family and friends by their sides in a beautiful park near Jamie's mom and step dad's home in Boiling Springs. The pond in the park was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony and the reception was in the clubhouse nearby.Read More
Well, September is in full swing and there is a lot happening in the Jaynes’ household, so we figured we would take advantage of a Marriage Monday post to share everything going on.
First of all, life is getting back to its normal craziness. The “free” days of summer are coming to an end and we are getting back into our busy schedule. For us, this means more engagement sessions, weddings coming up, and families portraits (have to get the perfect picture for the Christmas card, right?)
This Summer was a little slower for us. We took on less weddings and less photography gigs in general. It was the perfect time for us to clean all the gear, buy some new equipment, and make sure everything is still working in tip-top shape for our Fall season. But, prep time is over, we’re now getting ready for our busiest season.
The most important part of this season is that, FOOTBALL IS BACK! In our home, football is a major point of our lives. On Saturdays, we wake up and turn on College Gameday while we drink coffee. It’s our little Saturday tradition.
If we have a wedding on a Saturday during football season, we listen to the games on the radio in the car. If we don’t have a wedding, then we will set up two TVs. One with the South Carolina Gamecock game, the other with the Clemson game.
Fall is the most magical time (and busiest) for us. We are also offering mini-sessions! If you want to get some family portraits done, mini-sessions are a great way to do it.
Here’s the deets: 15 mins for $100 with 15 or more retouched photos.
We are only offering them on two dates, one in Anderson and one in the Columbia area. This is a special deal we only offer once or twice a year. You can signup here!
If you want to snatch one of these mini-sessions, we suggest you hurry. We only have a limited number of time slots available. Once they are gone, they are gone!
Here is the best part, because they are short sessions, you won’t miss any football!
I was thrilled to get to meet up for a headshot swap with other creatives this week! The first is Holly Vanderwal, owner of Cloud Nine Marketing. The second is Kayla, who owns Kayla Wilkes Photography! And lastly Daniel Backer, a lifestyle and street photographer.Read More
