The Farm at Ridgeway – Rustic Christmas Barn Wedding

Michael and Jillian were married at The Farm at Ridgeway, in Ridgeway, SC, just a few minutes from downtown Blythewood, SC. They had a beautiful, wintry, Christmas wedding filled with Christmas tree sprigs, greenery, rustic wood, and even snow for their exit! It was a winter wonderland and Jillian and Michael just looked so happy the entire day! Check out Jillian’s bridals for even more snowy beauty! I told her she looked just like a Disney princess with her fiery red hair!

Michael and Jillian met in high school and dated for years. The way that Michael smiled and looked at Jillian on their wedding day was just precious. And Jillian looked absolutely radiant, so who could blame him? The two of them have such fun families and friends who also looked like they really enjoyed themselves! I just loved watching them all out on the dance floor! Jillian wore her grandmother’s jewelry as her something old, borrowed, and blue. It was special to get to examine those beautiful pieces while photographing them. Jillian was very close with her grandmother and I felt like I got to experience just a glimpse of her too, just through taking photos of her beautiful jewelry.

Even through some small hiccups, Jillian and Michael were so calm and kind. They took everything in stride and knew that their day would still be perfect. And they were so right! It was a magical day for sure. The weather was perfect. Cool, but not cold, overcast, but still gorgeous, and only a few drops of rain. Michael and Jillian, thank you for entrusting Mitchel and me to capture your special day and to walk alongside you during your engagement and wedding journey. You two are so special and we feel blessed to have gotten to know you better! We can’t wait to hopefully see you both again soon!
