Anderson SC Spring Wedding at Rocky River Plantation

Katey Atkins and Bentley Griggs were married on March 24, 2024 at the beautiful Rocky River Plantation in Anderson, South Carolina.

Rocky River Plantation sounds like something out of a fairytale, doesn’t it? Think rolling green hills, the most beautiful old oak trees, and the tranquil sounds of nature in the background. It provided the perfect backdrop for Katey and Bentley’s special day, adding an extra dash of charm and romance to the festivities.

Katey and Bentley are a match made in heaven. They’ve got that undeniable spark, that twinkle in their eyes whenever they look at each other. Their love is obvious to anyone who sees them.

The Wedding Day

On the wedding day, Katey got ready with her mom, Bentley’s daughter, and her best friend Josie by her side. Being in the hair and makeup industry, she had good friends help complete her bridal look with hair and makeup. No one had seen her in her dress before except her mom so it was a surprise reveal to them all, and they were speechless. Katey shared a sweet moment with Adalynn, Bentley’s daughter which was so precious.

Katey looked absolutely breathtaking in her bridal gown, a vision in white as she walked down the aisle with her dad. Bentley stood at the most beautiful floral-covered arbor as he waited for his bride to come down the aisle. The love and joy radiating from these two were beautiful as they met together for the first time that day at their intimate ceremony with their immediate families.

It was a windy and chilly Spring day, but we were just so grateful for no rain! It really was the perfect day for Bentley and Katey.

The Reception

Of course, no wedding is complete without a little bit of fun and flair, right? And Katey and Bentley definitely delivered on that front. From the heartfelt vows to the two of them hugging each and every guest at the reception, every moment was filled with love, laughter, and pure joy.

They had the most beautiful spread for their guests to enjoy with the prettiest and most grand charcuterie spread that filled one of the rooms at Rocky River.

All in all, Katey and Bentley’s wedding was a day to remember. It was a celebration of love, friendship, and the beginning of a beautiful new chapter together. Here’s to many years of happiness and adventures for the newlyweds. Cheers to Katey and Bentley!
