Welcome to the blog. Here you're going to find everything from heart-warming marriage stories, to beautiful images of our clients. We want to invite you into our lives.
Dunneah and Dan were married this past Saturday at The Oaks Wedding Venue in Anderson. It was a lovely day all around.
Their original wedding date was affected by covid, unfortunately, so they had to push their date back 2 months due to all of the unknowns. We were so thrilled to share our wedding anniversary with them on their original date of May 16th, but we are just happy that they are finally married.
Regardless of all of the changes, it was the most beautiful wedding day.
Dunneah and Dan were both calm and collected on the wedding day. The bride, Dunneah, joked that she had two extra months to make sure she had everything together, and apparently that included her nerves. She was just so relaxed. She and her maid of honor, Tina, just chatted and enjoyed their time together before the ceremony.
I was so impressed that Dunneah did her own hair and makeup. She looked so beautiful! Her dress was so elegant and flattered her perfectly!
Dan is in the military so he wore his dress blues that were so wonderfully decorated and adorned. The dress blues perfectly tied together with the navy bridesmaid dress and red and white florals. I just love the color scheme.
Dunneah and Dan had to make the decision not only to move their wedding date, but also to move their ceremony venue from a church to the reception venue. They made this decision since they weren’t sure how they’d appropriately space out their guests at the church for the ceremony.
This was so thoughtful of them to be so considerate of their guests safety, even though it was important to them to be married in the church.
When the wedding day came, they had to make yet another decision. This time, to move the ceremony indoors, instead of having it outside on the veranda overlooking the pond. It was such a hot day, so they again took their guests comfort into consideration, and moved the ceremony indoors.
I honestly don’t think their day could have gone more perfectly. The Oaks is truly a beautiful place and it was a gorgeous place for their indoor ceremony.
Mr. & Mrs. Prieto, thank you for allowing us be a part of your wedding day. We wish you all the happiness in the world!
