Greenville, SC Mountain Engagement Session

Kayla and Jacob are so much fun! We met for their engagement session on a warm Summer night at Bald Rock, which is located in Cleveland, SC right near Caesars Head State Park.

I met Kayla back in college when we were both graphic design majors. She is a huge part of my college experience and I am so grateful for her and our fun times together in design school.

I first met Jacob a few months ago when he was about to propose to Kayla! He reached out to me to photograph his proposal and I was just thrilled to be a part of this special moment for them. You can read more about that here and see the photos from that day.

Engagement Photos at Bald Rock

During our time together at Bald Rock, we had the best-case scenario! We had almost the entire area to ourselves which made it super easy to find all of the most perfect photo spots.

In the Summertime, it’s pretty unusual on a weeknight for their not to be lots of people out exploring and taking photos of the mountains.

Well since it had just rained that day and also the day before, there were the least amount of people I’ve ever seen there and we practically had the place to ourselves.

We went into the woods a bit, took lots of photos on the rock with the big mountain view, and found a cute little area to the side that was a bit more shaded.

The rock and mountains were the perfect backdrop for Kayla and Jacob’s outfits. Their blue and white theme was perfect for the scenery.

Arran Farms Fall Wedding

I loved getting to spend time with Kayla and Jacob together and can’t wait for their wedding day in October at Arran Farms in Easley. It’s been a while since we have shot a wedding there and I’m so excited to be back.

Keeping with the mountain theme, Arran Farms’ open-air chapel ceremony location has a bit of a mountain feel right behind where the bride and groom stand. It’s so beautiful!
