Waterfront Charleston Engagement Portraits

We had so much fun taking engagement photos of Casey and Mark on Daniel Island! It was one of the first warm days we had in April and it was just gorgeous. Casey and Mark met at Seacoast Church in Charleston and the rest is history. Mark proposed on Kiawah Island in February, so their whole relationship has revolved around the Low Country. Casey actually went to Anderson University while we were there but our paths never crossed until she reached out about wedding photography. Mark went to Clemson just up the road from Anderson, but they didn’t meet until they were in the Charleston area. 

We enjoyed getting to know the two of them as we walked around some of their most favorite spots on Daniel Island, just a few minutes from Mount Pleasant. We saw places on the Island, including where they take walks on a weekly basis and the swing where they had their first kiss. I mean, how sweet is that! Gosh, I’m a sucker for romantic stories and symbolic places in a couple’s relationship and being surrounded by beautiful Charleston scenery was just perfect!

Casey and Mark, we just loved getting to meet you guys and we can’t wait to photograph your wedding in September!
