Greenville SC Mountain Wedding

Tyler and Peyton were married at The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel in Landrum, SC and had a beautiful reception at the Commerce Club in Downtown Greenville.

Due to covid, their original April 2020 wedding date got postponed to November. They were amazing at going with the flow and being positive through the entire experience. They officially got married in March and waited to have their celebration with family and friends in the Fall.

I loved hearing about how Tyler first met Peyton’s dad before he met her. He was an intern where her dad works in Indiana. He traveled all the way from Six Mile, SC where he’s from to Indiana for a Summer. The company had just begun working with Clemson students, and Peyton’s dad was also a Clemson alum. 

The first Summer he was there, Peyton and him did not cross paths. Peyton’s dad knew him and Peyton’s mom remembers seeing him at church. 

The funny part is that Peyton and Tyler were actually both students at Clemson at the same time, and also never crossed paths. Tyler had the chance to go back a second Summer to intern, he came back to work in Indiana. A few of the Clemson interns who were in Indiana went to help out at Peyton’s mom’s new dance studio, setting up and getting the building ready. Peyton’s parents noticed that Tyler conveniently wanted to work wherever Peyton was in the studio. 😉

The Wedding Day

Peyton and Tyler both are so kind, have the best smiles, and are so much fun together. We loved watching them interact with their family and friends all day. They are so loved!

Peyton and Tyler got married on a most perfect day! Thankfully the weather was lovely and the overcast, which was perfect for their portraits outside the chapel, overlooking the mountains. 

Peyton & Tyler and their wedding party got ready downtown at their hotel and then headed over to the Cliffs at Glassy’s Clubhouse to hangout and add finishing touches. Then they all traveled to the chapel. It was such a beautiful ceremony, with all of the chapel windows looking out over the mountains. 

We had perfect overcast weather for some beautiful portraits overlooking the mountains, right behind Glassy Chapel.

They had the best reception at the Commerce Club and we just loved their French fry bar and fun special touches! Both Peyton and Tyler’s dad’s gave speeches and said the sweetest words about the sweet bride and groom. Peyton’s younger sister, her maid of honor, also said a few sweet words.

Tyler & Peyton, we only wish you guys still lived in SC because you’re such a sweet couple and we wish we could hang out! We loved being a part of your wedding journey and are so glad you finally got to have your perfect and lovely celebration!
