Columbia, SC Engagement Session

Last week, I had my very first engagement session all of April, due to covid-19. And man, was it a sweet one!

Kristin and Austin wanted to have their session done at Kristin’s family’s land out in Prosperity, SC, which is right between Columbia and Newberry. I had never been to Prosperity, that I remember.

I was so excited though because my GPS took me right through Newberry, where we got married! I can’t believe it’s been almost 5 years. More on that later.

Rustic, Columbia Engagement Session

Kristin and Austin are fabulous! They have known each other since second grade! They reconnected in high school and were friends. They went to senior prom together! How cute!

They officially started dating freshman year of college. Kristin went to Charleston Southern University for college and Austin went to Clemson University. Yep, they did the whole long distance relationship all throughout college, and Kristin says that even though those years were really hard, they came through it all even stronger! 

I also LOVE that Kristin is a gamecock fan, like me, and Austin is obviously a Clemson fan, like Mitchel! We are proof that you can pull for different teams and still be civil. 😉
