Emily and Sam are such a sweet couple! I loved getting to finally meet them in person after months of chatting through email about their engagement session and wedding plans. Sam proposed to Emily this past Summer and had all their family there with them afterwards to celebrate.

Sam & Emily met when they were in 7th grade. They have been together since 8th grade, for over 8 years now. Emily is a student at Clemson and will graduate in December and then plans to go on to grad school at Presbyterian College for Occupational Therapy. Sam works at Michelin. Between college and work and wedding planning, they have so much going on in this season of life!

Emily and Sam and I got together for their engagement session at Heyward Manor, their wedding venue! They are so excited to get married there next July and are hoping to have their ceremony outdoors near the pond, which is one of my favorite options at Heyward. So beautiful!

The day of their engagement session was just perfect with beautiful weather. We took photos all around the property and at the end they were excited to get in the boat on the pond for a few photos, which is always one of my favorite shots.
