Welcome to the blog. Here you're going to find everything from heart-warming marriage stories, to beautiful images of our clients. We want to invite you into our lives.
I was just so excited when Hallie reached out to me to ask about us photographing her and Andy’s wedding day! After all, every time I get an inquiry to photograph a wedding, I get excited… but I think I audibly squeal whenever it’s someone I already know and love! That for SURE happened when I saw Hallie’s name in my inbox a few months ago.
Mitchel and I know Andy and Hallie from church and have gotten to watch their relationship grow and flourish over the years. They are just the perfect pair!
We got to know Hallie more over the last 2 years as we were in community group together, and served together in student ministry before that. It was so fun to watch her gracefully make her way through her last two years of college, graduate, and then secure a dream job starting in August in the Barrier Islands!! She is gentle and sweet, and the perfect amount of silly. She’s just adorable!
Mitchel and I got to serve at church with Andy on the worship team over the years and I always thought he was so kind and a great musician. He was always willing to be helpful no matter the need! He’s recently started a new job working in the world of finance and accounting in Greenville after graduating from AU last May.
They’ll be getting married at the beautiful Heyward Manor next May in Iva. We also have a connection from our community group there, as the venue owners daughter Tori Beth and her husband Jake were also in our community group. Andy and Hallie’s wedding day will be total full circle moment. From the days of hearing about the two of them dating, to anxiously awaiting and planning for their engagement, the proposal, and then their big day…it will be so sweet to have witnessed their love story from nearly the beginning.
Andy & Hallie and I met for their engagement photos on a perfectly beautiful Summer evening at the venue a few weeks ago. I had a blast getting to photograph them in some of my favorite spots! It was fun to dream along with them a bit and think about their wedding day and how wonderful that will be! I’m just so excited for them!
We had the most perfectly gloomy evening light, and I had a blast photographing these two sweet people! Enjoy a few favorite photos from their sweet engagement session.
