Barn at Sitton Hill Farm Fall Wedding

Josh and Caroline finally were able to have their wedding day at the Barn at Sitton Hill Farm in Easley. We absolutely loved getting to shoot their day here at The Barn at Sitton Hill Farm, which is an upscale barn experience that you just have to see. It’s beautiful!

After postponing their wedding an entire year to keep their family and friends safe since many were traveling from NY, Alaska, etc., it was a huge celebration that they had been waiting so long for!

I first met Josh and Caroline at their engagement session back in early November 2019. We met at Paris Mountain State Park and had the best time getting to know each other. Obviously none of us knew that it would be almost 2 years since we’d see each other again, due to the pandemic and their wedding postponement. 

The precious couple met on Bumble a dating app. I loved that they used the theme of hexagons and bumble bees subtly throughout their wedding decor! So clever and adorable.

Josh proposed to Caroline on a trip they took to Alaska, and if that weren’t romantic enough, he proposed on a beautiful mountaintop. 

The Wedding Day 

Caroline and her girls got ready in the beautiful bridal suite (seriously one of my most favorite bridal suites ever- so much space and it’s just beautiful!). Caroline wore aquamarine earrings that had a stone from her grandmother that her mom had repurposed and a watch that was a family members, too. I love special details like that.

Josh and Caroline shared their first look right outside of the bridal suite. It was a super sweet moment filled with so much joy, which really was the theme of their entire wedding day…so much JOY!

At their ceremony, I loved hearing Josh and Caroline promise some of the sweetest and most fun vows that they wrote one another. Josh even told the story of how he visited the Western Wall in Jerusalem in 2018 and prayed earnestly for a happy life. And then a few months went by he met Caroline. An answer to a non-specific prayer he had prayed back in Jerusalem.

Their family and friends would all say that they are truly the perfect compliment for each other and are the best pair. 

Their reception was a blast with lots of dancing and laughing! There was never a dull moment and everyone looked so happy to finally be celebrating the couple.
