Mr. & Mrs. Jones | Liberty, SC Wedding

A Navy and Sunflower Events at Iszy’s Wedding Day

Preston and Kalyn were married on May 1 at Events at Iszy’s in Liberty. SC. The venue is owned by a super sweet couple who actually created the ceremony spot and reception open air barn when their son got married several years ago. This October will be the venue’s final hoorah as they are closing.

Preston is from Aiken, but he and Kalyn actually met since he was in the upstate at Southern Wesleyan University for school. He and Kalyn are both now special needs teachers in the Upstate, which is a passion and calling that originally brought them together.

Preston proposed to Kalyn right in front of Death Valley on her birthday. Clemson is a huge part of she and her families lives and so he made sure to include it in his marriage proposal. Even as a Gamecock fan, he showed his true love to her that day.

We met in Clemson for their engagement session and it was such a beautiful day! Check those out here!

The Wedding Day

It was the most perfect May 1st wedding. Sunshine, warm and beautiful during the day, and a little chilly at night for the reception when the sun went down.

On their big day, Preston was calm and collected and didn’t seem nervous at all. Kalyn was all smiles and didn’t show her nerves until her first look with her dad. It was such a sweet moment and he was in awe of his baby girl’s beauty!

We took some wedding party and family photos and then all moved over toward the ceremony site, which was lined with trees and overlooked a pond. Such a pretty spot! They had a fun reception in the perfect barn on site. Lots of smiles, speeches, dancing, and great food!

My most favorite special-details of the day: Kalyn wore here late mother’s beautiful gold and diamond earrings and necklace. They were the perfect compliment to her beautiful dress. I also loved the beautiful sunflowers that were accompanied by soft beautiful white roses and eucalyptus.

Preston’s brothers were unable to come due to covid and being exposed to covid, so Kalyn’s brother stepped in as a groomsman, which was sweet because of their close relationship.

Kalyn and Preston, we wish you all the best and loved being a part of your journey!!
