Welcome to the blog. Here you're going to find everything from heart-warming marriage stories, to beautiful images of our clients. We want to invite you into our lives.
When we meet new people and we talk about wedding photography. We get a lot of different questions. Usually, they are about cake or brides, but a lot of people also ask what are favorite places to work are.
Obviously, there are a lot of amazing wedding venues in South Carolina, which makes it VERY hard to give a good answer. We’ve had incredible weddings in Charleston, and in the lower parts of the state.
Outside of South Carolina, Charlotte has some amazing places as well but those aren’t really are true favorites. Sure, they are AMAZING – but they aren’t where our hearts are.
We LOOVVVEE working in Greenville and Anderson. Here is what’s so incredible about these two cities. There are SOOO many different venues.
You can create any kind of look and feel for your wedding without having to drive 6 hours. There are historic venues, barn venues, and modern buildings all in our backyard. You don’t have to go far to find an affordable spot for your wedding day.
Aside from the venues, there are a couple of reasons we LOVE being wedding photographers in Greenville and Anderson
This one almost speaks for itself. Greenville and Anderson are getting bigger and bigger every year, and part of that is getting more FOOD! yummy!
The South is known for its BBQ, and Greenville has some incredible options, but that’s not all! There are so many more options.
Some weddings we’ve been to have had amazing cupcakes, delicious chicken, lots of great vegetables, and even some rice and hash.
Weddings are such a special day for the bride, groom, and all the family. The guests love being there to share the day, but they also want some good food!
For anyone planning a wedding in the Greenville area, we don’t envy you, because having to pick from all the amazing options won’t be easy, but whatever you pick, you can’t go wrong.
The people are what make a place home. If you’ve never been to Greenville, then you might think we are crazy, but Greenville people are some of the kindest people you’ll meet – especially those at weddings!
Every wedding we’ve photographed in Greenville has been full of kind and sweet guests, as well as amazing brides and grooms.
We’ve always heard horror stories about crazy guests or mean vendors, but thankfully we’ve never had to deal with that, and we think it has to do with the wonderful city!
Every time we leave a wedding in Greenville, we always spend the whole ride home talking about some of the nicest people we met at the wedding. Sometimes we know mutual people, other times they are complete strangers. For us, it’s one of the most amazing things about the city.
There are some incredible mountain landscapes in Greenville. There are few better places to get married than without the Blue Ridge mountains in the background.
This is one of the main reasons we enjoy living in the Upstate. I mean, how many places can you see the mountains off in the distance, but get to the beach for a day trip?
If you want to get married with a nature backdrop, Greenville is the perfect spot for it.
If the mountains aren’t your thing, maybe you want a field as the background for your wedding and reception. Don’t worry, Greenville has that.
We’ve photographed a lot of brides and grooms who wanted the rustic look and feel for their portraits, and a field makes that so easy, and Greenville has no shortage of hay fields.
Anything from woods, to mountains, to fields – Greenville, SC has it all. And that’s one of the many reasons we love being wedding photographers in Greenville.
