Paris Mountain State Park Engagement Photos

It’s the most fun when we get to photograph people who we love dearly! We got to take Addie & Corey’s engagement photos at Paris Mountain State park the weekend before Christmas.

Mitchel and Addie have been great friends since their high school days at Liberty High. I have known Addie since Mitchel and I started dating in 2010, and we immediately hit it off. Addie felt like a fast friend to me who was accepting and loving of me from the beginning. I’m so grateful for the friend she has been to Mitchel over the years.

Corey proposed to Addie when they were in Disney World a few weeks ago! What better place for a proposal than Disney?! I so wish we could have been there to see Addie’s reaction. Her ring is just gorgeous and we loved hearing all about their perfect trip.

Shortly after Addie and Corey got engaged, Addie told me she wanted us to shoot their engagement photos and wedding, and I could have cried. I always feel so honored when people we know and love choose us to be a part of their photography for their wedding. It’s the biggest compliment and best feeling to be included in this way!

Of course the day we chose to meet for their engagement session, it was on of the coldest mornings that we had all year. Corey and Addie were troopers and just went with it, with no complaints!

We worked our way around to all of the hidden gems around Paris Mountain State Park, and found some of the glowiest and prettiest morning light. I love Paris Mountain because you can drive right up and there are several accessible areas that are beautiful and perfect for photos.
