South Carolina Mountain Engagement, Sassafras Mountain: Adam and Kirsten

South Carolina Engagement Session

Adam and Kirsten went to high school together (with me!), and they started dating Adam’s freshman year of college, while Kirsten was a senior at Lugoff-Elgin in 2011. They have been together 8 years and are getting married in June of this year!

Adam proposed in their new home, on the day that they closed on their brand new house that they built! So sweet and special that they get to have that memory in their home for years to come!

Mountain Engagement Session

I went to elementary school through high school with Adam, and met Kirsten in high school through marching band. I ran into Adam for the first time since high school this past December and he mentioned that he would be proposing soon! I was so excited when I saw on social media that they got engaged and when Adam reached out to ask me to be their wedding photographer!

We took their engagement pictures over at Sassafras Mountain. It is the highest point in South Carolina and is on the North Carolina/South Carolina border, and man, was it beautiful! We had perfect weather and waited around for the beautiful sunset while at the top of the mountain.

Thank you Adam and Kirsten for allowing me to photograph you guys! I can’t wait for the wedding in June!
