Welcome to the blog. Here you're going to find everything from heart-warming marriage stories, to beautiful images of our clients. We want to invite you into our lives.
I’m so glad I finally get to post this bridal portrait session! Dunneah and Dan were originally supposed to be married in May of this year, actually on our anniversary! But due to COVID, they unfortunately had to move their wedding date to July. So we met in early June for Dunneah’s bridal portraits out at The Oaks Wedding Venue where they were planning to get married.
I always love going out to The Oaks, it’s a beautiful venue with so many amazing scenic views, which makes the perfect place to have gorgeous bridal portraits, what’s not to love?
Duneah contacted me several months ago about photographing her and Dan’s wedding, and she was just the sweetest person ever to talk to. I was so excited to meet her in person, finally, and see her in her wedding dress. She came all the way from Atlanta to The Oaks to have these portraits done, and I was so glad she did.
She was such a doll to work with and looked amazing in her dress. I was so thankful for the weather turning out well for her portraits. In South Carolina, you never know what kind of day you’re going to have, but it turned out to be a clear day, and thankfully it wasn’t miserably hot. Everything went swimmingly.
There were so many amazing parts of Dunneah’s bridals, but I loved the fact that her mom and dad both came out to help her and see her in her dress. Her parent’s love for her is so evident and I was so glad they could be a part of her bridal portrait day.
One of the things I love about The Oaks is the variety of looks you can get and still stay close to the building. They have a tree line that they call The Grove, a porch that they call The Veranda, and even a large pond on the property. Just within a few minutes, you can have a whole different look and only walk a couple of steps. As a photographer, venues like The Oaks are a dream for me because there is so much variety that is super accessible for the bride.
If you just love the pictures of Dunneah at The Oaks, be sure to see the photos from the wedding day. It was another magical day and we are so glad we could be there.
