Engagement sessions are some of my most favorite sessions we do! That’s because it’s usually the first or second time we have met a couple! It’s usually when we become comfortable with the couple and they hopefully do with us!

We spend 1-2 hours together chatting and taking photos and it really is the sweetest time!

We include engagement sessions complimentary in The Katie Jayne Wedding Experience because we truly believe that they are a vital part of the entire process. During the engagement session, our couples have the chance to get to know us, experience how we shoot and handle posing and lighting. This session actually really helps the wedding day flow because the couple already will feel comfortable when it come to the wedding day! Because of engagement sessions, Mitchel and I come to the wedding day already knowing how the couples interacts, what their best poses are, and how to photograph them in a genuine and super fun way!

We had tons of engagement sessions in 2019 and loved every single one! We photographed twin sisters and their fiances, photographed 2 proposals, and one couple loved their Summer engagement session so much that they asked if they could do a second session in the Fall!
