Melanie and Vlad were the winners of the Katharine Marie Weddings Birthday Week Giveaway, where we partnered to giveaway a free engagement session!

Allie, the owner of Katharine Marie Weddings hosted a ton of fun giveaways in February to celebrate her bridal shop being opened for one full year! We are so excited to have her in Anderson and have loved learning from her and getting to know her!

We just love engagement sessions and always have so much fun getting to know couples this way. So we were thrilled to gift one lucky couple with this session!

Melanie and Vlad are one of the many couples we know who have had their wedding be affected by covid-19. Their original wedding date was cancelled and then changed a few times. It has been a whirlwind for the two of them, constantly changing and adjusting. Their engagement session was no different.

We originally scheduled their session in March, right as covid was becoming increasingly more prevalent. We had to reschedule more than once, to the beginning of April, and then FINALLY were able to meet May 2!

Melanie is from Anderson, so we decided to do their photos in the precious downtown Anderson area! There are so many hidden gems in Anderson that I love.

They decided to go ahead and elope a few weeks ago because they were just happy to finally be married! They are enjoying married life but have truly been through so much together the past several weeks.

Congrats, you two! I just loved meeting you both.
