Fort Mill, SC Summer Wedding | Mr. & Mrs. Barton

Belle Crane Inn Wedding

Natalie and Steven were married in Fort Mill, SC just outside of Charlotte at a sweet and southern venue, The Belle Crane Inn. The property was so pretty and had the most perfect southern vibes, with a beautiful bridal suite inside a historic home, the ceremony right outside with greenery ad magnolia trees all around, and the reception just a few steps away under a beautiful tented area.

Natalie and Steven met years ago in FCA during high school. They eventually reconnected years later and began dating. Even though they had known each other for so long during high school, they never thought about dating.

The Wedding Day Events

September 4 was a lovely, sunny, warm day! The perfect day for a wedding!

Steven and Natalie opted not to do a first look before their ceremony. They did, however, decide to do a first touch. More about that sweet moment later! Throughout the day, they were both calm, but definitely seemed anxious to see their fiancé! After their ceremony, they both seemed genuinely so happy and full of joy, as well as relaxed and ready to celebrate!

Natalie and her girls put together their final touches inside the house and got to spend some time together before the ceremony. Natalie’s mom and aunt helped her get into her dress, put on her veil and shoes, and shared a few tears in the process. It was a sweet moment.

Before the ceremony, the couple shared a first touch and some time to talk and pray without seeing each other. Hearing Natalie read the letter she wrote Steven was a touching moment. Her love is deep and pure, and she loves and respects Steven so much. Steven read his letter to Natalie as well and clearly was so happy to get to marry her.

He smiled and even got a little tearful as they shared their first touch, while not seeing each other. I know it was so hard for them both to not peek around the corner to see their best friend. I think I heard Natalie say “I just want to see you!” They were both so ready for Natalie to walk down the aisle.

The ceremony was out front of the house with a beautiful tree-lined backdrop and plenty of friends and family watching as Steven and Natalie shared their vows. Their exit during the recessional was so cute and they were all smiles as they pranced off as Mr. & Mrs!!

After the ceremony and portrait time, they headed into their reception which was a time of wonderful food, lots of dancing, and more smiles and tears!

Special note to the couple: Natalie and Steven, I felt so honored to be a part of your wedding day and the journey leading up to your wedding. You two are so special and your love for each other, the Lord, and those around you is rare and beautiful! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Barton!!
