Downtown Greenville Winter Wedding

Krista and Will were married in Greenville, SC at Larkin’s The L Venue. It’s located in Downtown Greenville which is any Upstate couple’s dream location. Krista had chosen a color palette of blush with burgundy accents and it was so beautiful!

Will and Krista originally met at the Powdersville YMCA as camp counselors. Such a sweet and humble beginning that has lead them to where they are today!

I got to meet them and spend time with them back in August of last year for their engagement session at Will’s parent’s home. I also got to meet their precious dog, Copper, who was just the cutest! 

The Wedding Day

It was a cold, but sunny January day and I thought it couldn’t have been any more perfect for Will and Krista to tie the knot!

Will and Krista both are sweet people who are so much fun to be around and that was so evident at their wedding, especially at their reception where the dance floor was full and looked like everyone was having a blast!

Neither of them seemed nervous at all on their big day!

Krista and her girls got ready down the street from The L at the Hyatt. They had the cutest matching pjs and had so much fun getting ready. Krista shared a first look with her dad and it was a sweet moment as her mom looked-on. 

Then it was time for Krista and Will to share their first look together. They did so right outside of The L venue with the beautiful brick background. Will was all smiles and maybe a little stunned at how beautiful Krista looked in her wedding dress. He said he was not expecting the form fitting dress and expected something “poofy”….haha. We have heard this so many times from grooms lately. I’m not sure if they all think their brides are over the top or what. Haha!

Then we took photos of the couple with their wedding party, featuring the cutest 4 year old ring bearer who definitely stole the show. Their wedding party was amazing and so much fun! After photos, we had a few minutes for everyone to relax before the ceremony began. It was a sweet ceremony and then it was time for the big party!
