Classic Emerald Anderson SC Wedding

Hailey and Matt were married on November 6 at Heyward Manor. It was a chilly, Fall day with the most perfect Autumn colors all around. 

Lots of people came from all over to celebrate the couple’s big day. Most of Matt’s family is from New York so it was super neat to see them travel from so far for Matt & Hailey. They joked that they bring the cold weather down with them. It really was unseasonably cold for early November in sweet South Carolina on their wedding day.

According to Hailey, Matt is superstitious. He was excited to wait until she walked down the aisle to see his bride.

While Hailey waited until the ceremony to see Matt, she did do a first look with her dad and brother. Hailey’s family is very close knit and it was so sweet to witness them smiling and hugging through tears. Her brother beamed with pride and was emotional as he and their mom looked on as Hailey and her dad had their first look together.

Hailey and Matt had the most beautiful Fall colored tree backdrop for their ceremony on the patio, just outside of the venue. The weather was brisk, but beautiful. Hailey’s brother sang at their ceremony and it was a sweet moment.

After the ceremony and portraits of family and the wedding party, everyone headed inside for the reception to begin. They had amazing food by Sullivan’s, cake by Tasteful Elegance, and lots of smiling family and friends around.

The couple was blessed with the most beautiful, vibrant sunset for portraits after the cake cutting and speeches. We just had to pop outside for a few photos. It was absolutely amazing!

Heyward Manor Wedding Reception

One of my favorite moments of their reception was when Hailey sang karaoke with brother and then she sang a song by herself on the mic! Such a fun and talented sibling duo.

I also really loved the surprise that Hailey had sewn on the inside of her dress. She didn’t know this, but her mom had some fabric from family members clothing sewn into a heart so that they could be with her as she walked down the aisle.

We always love shooting out at Heyward Manor and it was so much fun to finally shoot a wedding with our friend Allie, of Katharine Marie Weddings as the planner. She truly made the wedding day effortless and a seamless experience for everyone!
