Welcome to the blog. Here you're going to find everything from heart-warming marriage stories, to beautiful images of our clients. We want to invite you into our lives.
Faith and Jt were married at Old Cigar Warehouse in the heart of Downtown Greenville on October 31st!
Jt and Faith first met during their time at Anderson University as students. We actually also met Jt back when we were students at AU.
Mitchel and Jt first met in college when we were sophomores, in 2011-12 and Jt came for an overnight campus visit as a high schooler. He stayed the night with Mitchel and his roommates. Fast forward 9 years later, and getting to serve as his wedding photographers feels so full-circle and we were so honored!
Jt proposed to Faith on Halloween 2019. On the wedding day, he showed me the video of him proposing. He had a friend carve a pumpkin that said “Marry me?”. He told me about how he could barely get a word in to ask Faith to marry him because she just kept saying “are you serious” “For real?!”….so he just put the ring on her finger. 😂
It snowed in Illinois, on the day they were engaged and it was Halloween. That seriously sounds like a perfect romantic movie to me! It was only appropriate that their wedding day would be on Halloween, too.
Jt and Faith are both amazing! Their entire day was smooth and so much fun. They were both calm and collected the entire day, and never showed any nerves. They also had the best bridal party surrounding them. Such a fun group of friends and family who loved them so well.
The wedding day was perfect in terms of the weather! It was a nice, cool Fall day, but warmed up nicely so that the bride and bridesmaids didn’t freeze while outside!
We were so impressed with how many family members traveled from all over for the Henning wedding, especially so much of Faith’s family from Nevada. There were family and friends from all over the US.
One of my favorite things about a wedding in Downtown Greenville, means it’s walkable. The bride & groom and their wedding party got ready at Embassy Suites and walked over to Old Cigar Warehouse, separately. Once they got to the venue, Faith and Jt had a sweet time just the two of them for their first look.
Jt had the sweetest reaction, he is so in-love and in-awe of his bride! And we loved getting to witness these few minutes just the two of them! SO. Much. Joy, and so many smiles/tears!
We got to spend time afterward with the couple and their wedding party taking photos. Gosh, they are FUN! Their ceremony was done by a family member. It was sweet and they said their own vows.
After the ceremony, we got to walk around the venue to take some portraits of Jt and Faith before the reception started. We saw lots of people dressed up in costumes, including some friends of the bride and groom. Of course, everyone saw the couple and immediately screamed “congrats” or “y’all look amazing!”.
Mitchel and Jt would yell back “Oh these are just costumes”…..and the random on-lookers didn’t know how to respond. 😂
Jt and Faith, y’all are amazing! Your entire day was fabulous, from your friends and family, your vendors, both of your sweet and fun attitudes, and just every little detail. Congrats, y’all!
