Welcome to the blog. Here you're going to find everything from heart-warming marriage stories, to beautiful images of our clients. We want to invite you into our lives.
Gabby Wimberly and Miki Wersinger were married on Friday, January 6 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Taylors. They had a private dinner afterwards with their closest friends at The Lazy Goat restaurant in Downtown Greenville and then a reception with all their family and friends at Revel. We loved that they made their day unique and exactly what they wanted.
Gabby and Miki first met at St. Joseph’s School when they were in high school. They later started dating in college at Clemson.
Miki proposed to Gabby in the Winter of 2022. The walked through Falls Park and he took her to the most beautiful, secluded spot where he got on one knee and asked her to be his wife. We revisited this spot during their engagement session in December. It was so special to have this moment recreated during their session.
Miki and Gabby’s wedding day was the most perfect, sunny January day. They chose to get married at their church Prince of Peace Catholic Church on January 6th, the day the Church celebrates Epiphany. Marking the final day of the Christmas season, the church was still beautifully decorated for Christmas.
Gabby described her idea for their wedding theme to be “elegant & timeless Winter wedding with hints of Christmas decor”….and the entire day was just that! They included a few special details in their day, including Gabby having her mom’s rosary intertwined in her bouquet.
Gabby and Miki were both so happy and joyful on their day. Within a few minutes of Mitchel and I arriving, Miki and Gabby shared their first look. They seemed so happy to see each other and were happy to have a few minutes together before their Wedding Mass began.
After their first look we took a few portraits in front of the beautiful church, then Gabby went back into the brides room with her mom and bridesmaids. Gabby took a few moments before Mass with her dad for a special first look, then it was time for Mass to begin.
They had a beautiful wedding ceremony and then we took some sweet family photos, as well as wedding party portraits.
I was so excited that Gabby wanted intentional, un-rushed time to take bride and groom portraits in Downtown Greenville. Mitchel and I drove Gabby and Miki to the area outside The Lazy Goat and we had such a great time taking portraits of the new married couple around the outskirts of Falls Park and at Wyche Pavilion.
Gabby and Miki chose to have a private dinner at one of their favorite restaurants The Lazy Goat, in the heart of Downtown Greenville. The invited their closest friends to join them. I loved this idea!
After their dinner, they all headed over to Revel Event Center for their big party! Miki’s sisters band Randomonium played during the night and brought the energy and party!
Gabby and Miki were so kind to honor her grandparents with a 60th anniversary cake. They weren’t able to celebrate this past summer due to Grandfathers sickness, so they were thrilled to do so just after Gabby and Miki cut their own wedding cake.
Miki and Gabby, we were so honored to be your photographers! You two are full of love, joy, and light and we wish you all the best in this new adventure of marriage!
