Welcome to the blog. Here you're going to find everything from heart-warming marriage stories, to beautiful images of our clients. We want to invite you into our lives.
Andrew & Amanda were married at Zen in downtown Greenville. Zen is absolutely stunning and has so much variety in terms of indoor space! This was our first time there and we absolutely adored it. The venue is directly across the street from the Greenville Drive baseball stadium and is right on Main Street, which is such a cool spot for a wedding!
Amanda and Andrew unfortunately were forced to postpone their wedding 4 months, due to the uncertainty of COVID. Their original wedding date was April 18, and on that day, Amanda’s parents, sister, and brother-in-law went to their house to celebrate them anyways, despite having no formal celebration. I just love that they still celebrated even though it was a bittersweet day.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Young first met as students at the University of South Carolina, where they were both music majors. Music has played a huge role in their relationship and they are now both band directors in the same district. Amanda at the middle school, and Andrew at the high school!
I actually met Amanda as a result of band/winterguard over 15 years ago, so to know that her love of music and band is something she can share with Andrew makes me so happy for them! We even got to photograph Amanda’s twin’s wedding, Stephanie and Gage last November. We think the world of the D’Aloisio family so it’s been so neat to be a part of both girls weddings.
Andrew proposed 2 Christmases ago on Christmas Eve in front of all their best friends! So sweet! Who doesn’t love a Christmas proposal!?
Andrew & Amanda’s wedding day was an absolute breeze! I think Andrew and Amanda were just so ready to be married that they did not seem nervous or any other emotion except pure joy! It truly was an honor for us to be there. Amanda and her girls got ready and then Amanda did a big reveal with them in her dress. She also did a first look with her dad and then her grandmother. I just loved that!
My favorite part of the day was the moment Andrew first saw Amanda. He smiled and held back tears as he first saw Amanda come down the long ceremony aisle with her dad. It was the sweetest ceremony and immediately after, all of the emotion overcame Andrew as he and Amanda passed through into the empty reception space after the ceremony was over. His love for Amanda is so deep and special. I couldn’t hold back tears as I saw him overjoyed and crying!
Their reception was a blast and they had a mix sweet and hilarious speeches by their matron of honor and best man. We loved getting to meet all of the wonderful people who love this sweet couple!
Amanda and Andrew, we are so happy for you guys and just love that we got to witness the love you two share!
