Historic Charleston Engagement Photo Session

It was a perfect day in downtown Charleston with Alyssa and Mikas for their engagement photos! I prayed all week that it wouldn’t rain when I saw 40% chance of rain on my weather app on my phone. Luckily, the weather turned out great and was a nice warm day, unlike what we had been having in early April. 

I was so, so excited to get to take Alyssa and Mikas’ engagement pictures! I have known Alyssa since elementary school and loved getting to know her more in high school classes and in Winter Guard and Color Guard. When I think of Alyssa, I think of her kind heart, her dedication and determination, her love for others, and her intelligence. She is truly a package deal and I think Mikas is so blessed to get to marry our girl! 

We enjoyed lunch in downtown Charleston at Minero and then wandered all around the Holy City! We stopped at Waterfront Park, Rainbow Row, and finished at The Battery. Enjoy some of my favorite photos of Alyssa and Mikas, and some of the beautiful Charleston scenery!
