Sleepy Hollow Barn Wedding

Harrison and Christine got married on what HAD to be the chilliest March day Clemson has ever had. I am kidding, kind of, but gosh, it was beautiful even though it was a cold outdoor ceremony at Sleepy Hollow Barn. The lawn at Sleepy Hollow was just beautiful and the sun peeked through perfectly! The gorgeous Spring florals from Laurel Creek Floristry were the most perfect touch.

In the words of their ceremony officiant, “Harrison lives and breathes everything lake related”. Harrison and Christine knew each other from several years back but reconnected a few years ago when Christine was back in the Clemson area one weekend from Charleston, where she was living. Harrison and Christine met while on a boat at Lake Hartwell, which is also where he proposed to Christine. Her roommate said during her reception speech that Christine talked and talked all about this “Harrison” when she came back home to Charleston and hasn’t stopped talking about him since that day years ago!

Christine and Harrison have got to be the most laid-back couple I think I have ever photographed. They were just the best and most relaxed all day long. They were absolute troopers in the cold and were just so excited to be married and to party with their friends at their reception. Nothing else mattered to them, which was so refreshing!

Christine and some of her friends got ready at the Corontzes home just a few minutes away from Sleepy Hollow. They were super relaxed and Christine even did her own makeup, which I was super impressed by. Christine also made her wedding day earrings, which were made from real pearls and gold. She’s so talented!

Their ceremony was performed by two friends of theirs which made it so personable and fun, complete with lots of smiles and laughs. They also had friends who sang and played guitar, which was so sweet. 

Though it was a cold day, it was such a fun one! I was honored to get to photograph and witness the entire day!

Christine and Harrison, I wish you all the best in your new adventure together! You two are such a great team and are so so loved! Thank you for including me in your big day.
