BeMi’s Wedding

Brooke Johnson and Carlo Honeycutt were married on Friday, April 29 at BeMi’s Event Venue in Greer. BeMi’s is a newer event hall just outside of Downtown Greer, not far from Greenville.

Brooke and Carlo met on Bumble and the rest is history. Lots of decor from their wedding day was an homage to how they met. 

On their first date, Carlo told Brooke “are you even real?”….which I think is precious. From that moment, they knew they had chemistry and so much in common.

Brooke and Carlo have to be one of the nicest couples out there. They are both so genuine and kind, and also so much fun! Brooke has the cutest smile and Carlo has a great sense of humor. 

Wedding Day at BeMi’s Wedding Venue

On the wedding day, Carlo and Brooke both seemed relaxed and happy. Each of them got ready in the bridal suite and groom’s room separately. 

Once Carlo saw Brooke, when her dad walked her down the aisle, he was a ball of tears, smiles, and emotions. It was SO. SWEET! He could not hold back his tears and it was the purest showcasing of his love so visibly. 

Their ceremony was officiated by a sweet married couple, Brooke’s cousin and her husband. It was so personable and fun! 

The couple had their hand in the ceremony and reception decor. The theme was based on their favorite “nerd things” as Brooke said: mentions of Dungeons and Dragons, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and more! 

Carlo is big into 3D printing and he printed the centerpiece dices. Brooke made everything from the invitations to some of the florals to all of the reception decor. She’s so talented!

We also loved the special Dungeons and Dragons/Bumble theme- hexagons and dice shapes all around! There were D20 dices all around for each guest and even hidden in the arch for the ceremony. We loved the special addition of having their guests roll a D20 to see who would go first in the buffet line. Such a fun touch!

It was the perfect Spring day and the venue, BeMi’s was the perfect backdrop to celebrate Brooke and Carlo!
