Downtown Anderson SC Engagement Session | Jordan & Lindsey

Downtown Anderson SC Engagement Session

Lindsey & Jordan live in the DC area, where they are both lawyers. Jordan proposed back in May and when Lindsey contacted me in June, I was so excited to meet them. They sounded like such a sweet couple!

Lindsey’s parents live in the Upstate SC area, so Jordan and Lindsey come visit frequently. We were lucky enough to get to have breakfast with them in early July right before they left to drive home to DC, a 9 hour drive after a few days here.

We had just gotten home from our family beach trip the night before, but Lindsey and Jordan were kind enough to take time Sunday morning to meet with us right before they left to go home after their weekend in Anderson.

We loved getting the chance to meet with them and hear all about their love story and their plans for their intimate, November wedding at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

But even more than hearing about wedding plans and preparations, we were just excited to hear that Lindsey & Jordan feel so ready to be married and think that planning for marriage is so much more important than the wedding.

We totally agree! Taking time before the wedding to invest in your future marriage is something we are big on and really encourage our couples to focus on. We think that it’s so smart to prepare well, whether that means having hard conversations, going through marriage counseling, or just taking time to enjoy the season of engagement in your own way.

Lindsey & Jordan will be married here in Anderson and have their intimate family reception and dinner at a restaurant in Greenville. We can’t wait to be there to celebrate alongside them and to meet their family and friends!
